Sartorial Street Chic

Facing torrential downpour in the Sunshine State today, oh the irony, so its prime-time to flaunt chic boots (and preferably NOT suede). This look embraces the weather with a "come hither, I still won't wither" 'tude inspired by The Sartorialist. If the weather dries up, you can bet I would quickly opt for the suede ankle boots. They really take the look from slightly equestrian to polished.

Keep It Casual

Listening to Washed Out first thing this morning on my music blog filled me with sheer desire to keep it casual today. Swear my grey colorblock top was created for this style, so I set it up with super soft burgundy jeans and a tan cardigan. Since the look was begging for a jolt of character, the ode to geometrics statement necklace and ring came out to play.

Winter Wonderling

The juxtaposition of classic and cool elements bring eye catching appeal to winter style. When building this look, it helps to start with the center pieces attracting attention. In this look, the faux fur coat, or cardigan, and deep purple say "hello" first. From there everything added should tie the details together with color, texture, and most importantly.. personality. You can easily add sass by using the exotic clutch or be polished with the pewter shoulder bag. Either way you're sure to make a lovely statement!
