Rihanna Rocker Chic

Rihanna looked casually fierce strutting into Cipriani, a restaurant on Wall Street in New York City, wearing lace up peep toe boots, a black and white striped mini, and sheer black shirt. Although the long nails are overboard, this look is perfect for the downtown rock scene. After dining at Cipriani, Rihanna went to Katy Perry's concert after party at The Griffin nightclub.

Both Rihanna and Ciara have been seen several
times wearing the the Miu Miu lace up peep-toe boot, which is a rocker chic staple piece of fall. Shakira wore the boots in two colors for her She Wolf video.

Taking Woodstock Screening

Hollywood celebrities came out for a screening of the new Emile Hirsch film, Taking Woodstock. Directed by Ang Lee, director of Brokeback Mountain and the Hulk, the film is about a man who inadvertently invented Woodstock in the summer of 1969.

Meryl Streep and her daughters, Mamie Gummer and Grace Gummer, certainly stood out amidst the overwhelming flower child look that ruled the red carpet of the event. Mamie's dress is the perfect balance of modern hippie and boho chic paired with chandelier earrings and pumps. Where as, Grace's red dress is an absolute attention grabber with ruffled details that give it a frilly flirty vibe.

Claire Daines was lovely in a purple wrap dress.

I found a purple Miu Miu jersey dress and paired it with Report Signature Sandals, and a CC SKYE clutch. I threw in a Fendi Cuff, Betsey Johnson earrings, and a dutchess ring by Banana Republic for some extra glam.
