Today I decided to share something unrelated to fashion with you, and his name is James Blake. He's an electronic composer who creates unusual entrancing melodies, and occasionally saturates them with his soulful voice. The amazing Marcelo Burlon, stylist/PR extraordinaire, went to a show Blake did in Milan, captured the performance and interviewed Blake. Check it out on Burlon's blog AND see James Blake's video for his hit song "The Wilhelm Scream".

Artfully Chic
When I came across A.J. Bocchino's "New York Times Headlines" artwork I was inspired to create a chic look for an art gallery showing. I wanted to incorporate the colors of the piece and started with Emilio de la Morena's silk dress and Sense's teal leather snakeskin cut out platforms. Aldo's mulvahill clutch and
Tom Binns Ethno Teknik tied all of the right brights into the look. What do you think?

Friday's Freakum: Abstract Attraction
Finding interesting prints is practically my new past time so I was stopped dead in my tracks when I laid eyes on this Holly Fulton print dress with python skin. Its a no-brainer that any accessories added to this look had better be on the verge of fierce or else they'll go unnoticed. So I brought out Holly's bejeweled earrings, Jimmy Choo cutout sandals, a House of Harlow triquetra ring and clutch by Alexander McQueen to play up the abstract appeal.

Thursday's Theory: Black & White? Alright!
There's something to be said when prints create lovely illusions, and this Ann Demeulemeester skirt has me quite intrigued. Using a simple black one-shoulder L'Agence top and suede platforms from TopShop, I created fluid lines throughout the look. I went with Marni's leather/rafia tote and Kenneth Jay Lane's ram bracelet because juxtaposing them with the skirt distinguishes their details beautifully. Milly's stripe trim cardigan is perfect for the office and the House of Harlow earrings with hexagonal stones finish the look.

Happy Hour Hauteness
It's hump day and most are hoping happy hour is gonna be something to remember so we can smile until the weekend. Even if its not one for the books, looking amazing is still on my to-do list and I styled this look to accomplish the mission at hand. In a Just Cavalli feather-print dress and Jeffrey Campbell glitter platforms, smiles and compliments are bound to happen. Daisy Knight's feather earrings along with a Pontiac ring and beaded clutch give some cultural chic to complete the look.
Happy Hump Day!

Business-Class Sass: Printed & Persuasive
This look pays homage to the bright side of fashion, which I absolutely love. The Dion Lee deconstructed silk jacket and yellow House of Mai top are tied together with a unique Dosa Mona print striped skirt. Colorful yet subtle jewelry by Tarina Tarantino and Sorrelli, along with a black Fendi tote and Miu Miu sandals, add a delightful compliment to the look.

Monday Morning Manifique
For a Monday Morning fashion pick-me-up I'm rolling with this French Connection print dress and a Rebecca Minkoff jacket. Minimal yet interesting accessories make for a great addition to this look so I chose olive green crystal earrings by Alvina Abramova and an abstract rock ring by TopShop. The Chloe satchel and Jimmy Choo sandals complete the look with their neutral color and eye-catching details.
